Preparing a medical kit for an expedition :
Preparing a medical kit for a trek or an expedition requires a specific approach.
When on a trip the person in charge of the group's medical needs can't rely on his "at-home" medical experience and practices. Whether he's a doctor, paramedic, guide or leader, he will find himself much like on a ship, the only master on board.
Any traveller may face an emergency where his knowledge and skills are required to deliver medical help.
An emergency medical kit can only be useful if it has been tailored for those who will use it.
It's useless, even dangerous to bring medication and tools you don't have any experience with, and for which you don't know the effects and dangers.

- General remarks :
To build a kit, take into account the various parameters and specificities of the environment
- Content of the medikal kit :
Adapt the medical kit to its user, and not the contrary!
- Jurisprudence :
Legal decisions for doctors and the general public.
- Examples of medical kits :
The goal of these pharmacies is no to make you choose specific products. The products were selected according to their effectiveness, packaging, national insurance reimbursement, generic equivalences, etc. A doctor may use these lists purely as reminders, while deciding to choose different products.
